Director, ERP Business Development

  • The ERP Business Development Director will assist in the expansion and advancement of our existing ERP practice, focusing on the acquisition of new customers, leveraging networks and relationships to develop leads and secure new ERP business opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Build and expand business relationships with current and potential clients
  • Prospect and strategically target new customers with the end goal of securing new business for Pivot Point Consulting
  • Initiate a plan to approach potential clients through a variety of means, including identify and qualify opportunities
  • Coordinate business generating activities; develop and implement customized sales strategies
  • Collaborate with account management, recruiting, sales, and leadership to secure, retain and grow accounts
  • Become familiar and understand client needs in order to provide solutions and support; answer potential client questions and follow-up call questions; respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Create informative presentations; present and deliver information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, conferences and internal training event opportunities
  • Create and maintain a list/database of prospect clients; maintain a database of prospective client information using our existing CRM solution
  • Cold call; perform multiple outbound calls to potential clients; close sales and work with client through the closing process
  • Meet all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, interviews, and client visits; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals
  • Maintain a pipeline of all sales administration and opportunities, using existing CRM software and internal processes
  • Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintain short- and long-term business development plans
  • Work in tandem with the Pivot Point Consulting ERP Practice Director and Healthcare Advisory team

  • Experience with ERP lead generation and prospect management; healthcare experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers
  • Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented with excellent analytical and time-management skills
  • Possess an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor with excellent organization and follow-up skills, and the ability to prioritize work assignments; Diligent in follow-up and follow through
  • Demonstrate an executive presence, fine-tuned to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Directors
  • Demonstrated and proven ERP sales results; knowledge of sales process from initiation to close


Education and Experience:

  • ERP Sales experience; Workday, Oracle, SAP and CRM solutions are a plus
  • High school degree or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
