YOUR ROLE

  • Manage Epic customer project application directors/managers to consistently meet project milestones and timelines for system design, build, testing and end user training
  • Responsible for coordinating activities of the project team under occasional guidance
  • Identifies appropriate resources needed, and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of various Epic implementation projects
  • Coordinates the activities of the team by becoming familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member
  • Implements small development projects or components of large projects

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for developing plans and successfully implementing key readiness activities to include: dress rehearsal; shadow charting; integrated testing; printer testing and activation support scheduling
  • Responsible for execution of testing plans and quality assurance standards to ensure successful testing of Enterprise EHR software, including downstream applications
  • management and successful execution of testing and training initiatives: development of project plans; development of client specific strategy and plan; development of testing quality assurance standards and resource management
  • Perform project tracking and reporting relative to task completion dates, dependency effects, problem anticipation, schedule conflicts, and assignment to appropriate staff for resolution. Manages prioritization procedures for changing scope [i.e., change management] and project acceptance procedures
  • Measures progress toward goals and revises project objectives and documents applying change control procedures

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Epic system certification
  • Clinical experience and licensing preferred
  • Demonstrate compliance with all facility, department, company policies and procedures (i.e. EHR credentials)
  • Display exemplary work ethic and professionalism
  • High level of independent judgment and decision making
  • Exhibit leadership capabilities that meet the professional standards of Pivot Point, and the local client/facility
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate and interface effectively at all levels of the organization including but not limited to upper management, information technology, human resources, etc.
  • Has experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs in realms of project management. This includes updates of the project and daily completion metrics (i.e End Of Shift Email)
  • Proficient as key implementation manager, forming partnerships and winning trust with executive leadership at client sites
  • Experienced in leading large/Enterprise implementations working with multiple project teams, consistently receiving excellent feedback from team members
  • Experienced in the management and successful execution of testing and training initiatives: development of project plans; development of client specific strategy and plan; development of testing quality assurance standards and resource management
