ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Systems Analyst with expertise in laboratory instrument setup and validation, particularly with Abbott Alinity, Sysmex, and Epic Beaker. This consultant will support the laboratory team in configuring and mapping records, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless integration and accurate data flow between lab instruments and Epic Beaker LIS. This role is critical for optimizing lab workflows and ensuring data accuracy across systems.

ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Systems Analyst with expertise in laboratory instrument setup and validation, particularly with Abbott Alinity, Sysmex, and Epic Beaker. This consultant will support the laboratory team in configuring and mapping records, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless integration and accurate data flow between lab instruments and Epic Beaker LIS. This role is critical for optimizing lab workflows and ensuring data accuracy across systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the setup, configuration, and testing of lab instruments (Abbott Alinity and Sysmex) with Epic Beaker.
- Conduct record mapping and validation processes to ensure accuracy in data transmission between instruments and LIS.
- Collaborate with lab and IT teams to establish and test interfaces, troubleshoot integration issues, and document workflows.
- Perform end-to-end testing, identify discrepancies, and adjust configurations as necessary.
- Provide user support and training on workflows and system functionality to lab staff as needed.
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with laboratory instruments, specifically Abbott Alinity and Sysmex systems.
- Strong background in Epic Beaker configuration, record mapping, and LIS integration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with lab and IT teams.
- Certification in Epic Beaker is REQUIRED
- Familiarity with HL7 interfaces and integration with lab instruments, preferred.
