ROLE

We are looking for a talented and experienced EPIC Analyst to join our healthcare team. As an EPIC Analyst, you will play a vital role in implementing and maintaining the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. You will work closely with clinicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of the EHR system for emergency department and pharmacy workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure and implement the EPIC module based on business requirements and best practices. Ensure seamless integration with other EPIC modules and external systems.
  • Analyze current emergency department and pharmacy workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Collaborate with end-users to gather requirements and propose workflow enhancements using the EPIC module.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy and functionality of the EPIC module. Identify and resolve any issues or bugs during testing, and ensure a smooth transition to the production environment.
  • Provide comprehensive training to end-users on how to effectively use the EPIC module. Create training materials, conduct workshops, and provide ongoing support to address user questions, issues, and optimize system utilization.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, workflows, and processes related to the Epic ASAP module. Generate reports to analyze system performance, user adoption, and identify areas for further improvement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and IT professionals, to gather requirements, communicate system updates, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Act as a liaison between end-users and technical teams to facilitate effective communication and issue resolution.


EXPERIENCE
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • EPIC certification or significant experience working with the EPIC module.
  • Minimum 5 years of EPIC clinical system implementation or support
  • Clinical Nursing Experience is preferred but not required

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require Hourly pay range disclosure: $80 - $95.
