Director, EHR Implementation

Description:
The Director, EHR Implementation architects and executes EHR implementation strategies for clients and builds client-executive relationships into trusted advisory partnerships. This role serves as a subject matter expert in EHR implementation strategies and methodologies, including Community Connect and Refuel optimizations, for both the company and its clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serves as delivery leader in implementation and optimization client engagements
  • Independently plans, executes, and leads implementation and/or optimization engagements of varying size and complexity
  • Manages resource management, budget, forecasting and utilization reporting to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Develops client-facing roadmaps and project plans and positions the firm for long-term revenue gain with clients and unified positioning sales opportunities
  • Owns, manages, and contributes to the development of service methodologies, best practices, and products
  • Partners with Managing Director, Executives and Sales team on sales enablement and pursuit activities including proposal development and RFP/RFI responses

Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Healthcare IT leadership role(s) focused on consulting, delivery, or implementation management
  • Strong knowledge of EHR systems, healthcare workflows, and regulatory requirements required
  • Current or expired Epic certification(s) required
  • PMP or Six Sigma certification is highly desired

Location: 100% Remote

Travel Requirements: 50% travel (e.g. 50% travel to differing locations, 50% of the time working from an office)

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

Frequent:            Sitting, walking, eye/hand/foot coordination and repetitive motion.
Occasional:        Standing and bending.
Infrequent:          Lifting up to 10 pounds.
