Director, EHR

Description:
The Director, EHR works closely with the Business Development, Recruiting, and Practice Leaders to screen and rank quality candidates for open EHR positions, with a focus on Epic’s clinical application suite. The position collaborates with business stakeholders, business leaders and subject matter experts to fill positions effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identifies, assesses, and recruits qualified talent to fulfill job orders with a focus on Epic’s clinical application suite
  • Updates, reviews, and actively utilizes a candidate skills matrix in recruitment activities
  • Performs weekly interviews in line with performance objectives
  • Generates leads via professional relationships, candidate interviews, and other interactions that support business development/sales efforts
  • Utilizes Bullhorn to log all activity, notes, and information vital to managing and growing a book of business as well as planning daily activities
  • Collaborates with teammates to cross-sell and/or fulfill open positions across other lines of business and/or national practices as appropriate
  • Stays informed about healthcare industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities

Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 3 years’ experience with Epic implementation or support
  • Experience in screening candidates preferred
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Active certification in EpicCare Inpatient or Ambulatory required; additional Epic clinical or ancillary certifications preferred
Location:  100% Remote

Travel Requirements: 10% travel (e.g. 10% travel to differing locations, 90% of the time working from an office)

Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:

Frequent:            Sitting, walking, eye/hand/foot coordination and repetitive motion.
Occasional:        Standing and bending.
Infrequent:          Lifting up to 10 pounds.
