  • Prepare and execute functional system and program specifications using structured methodology
  • Advanced analytical skills and ability to recognize problems and respond, systematically gather information, sort through complex issues, seek input from others, address root cause of issues, make timely decisions, can make difficult decisions, uses consensus when possible and communicates decisions to others
  • Independently leads and coordinates medium and small projects responsible for managing and meeting project timeline, budget and quality parameters
  • Assist back-office and non-clinical Epic end-users with system troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Responsible for the build, support, testing and implementation efforts related to Epic System


  • Analyzes, develops, configures, tests and implements Epic EHR software and related analytics on time with minimal supervision
  • Performs system configuration functions using online architectural tools
  • Prepares detailed program specifications and flowcharts and coordinates the system's installation with the user department
  • Provides status reports to management when required
  • Attends meetings as required and participates on committees as directed
  • Prepares charts and diagrams to assist in problem analysis and submits recommendations for solutions
  • Acts as a user liaison between clinical or business departments and information systems; providing domain expertise and experience for multiple interacting healthcare departments
  • Works closely with operational stakeholders to properly engineer workflows
  • Leads others to adhere to established industry best practices, standards and quality
  • Ability to create SQL to run reports in system


  • Experience leveraging data/analytics to drive improvements for HIM
  • Familiar with Epic Clarity data and HIM
  • Experience with Tableau, preferred
