Business Development Manager

Pivot Point Consulting is seeking to hire a full-time Business Development Manager responsible for growing the business by establishing new customers and maintaining relations with current customers.  This role would oversee building an entire regional sales territory and is a unique business development opportunity. Objective:

  • Develop and maintain client relationships through networking, sales and marketing calls.
  • Increase market share and maximize new business development opportunities within assigned territory, achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
  • Exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities:

  • This position would report directly to Pivot Point Consulting’s Vice President of Sales
  • Develop new and existing client relationships in assigned region
  • Seek out and target new customers and initiate a plan to approach and secure new business for Pivot Point Consulting
  • Manage key customer relationships
  • Work with Pivot Point Healthcare Advisory team
  • Assist in the creation of proposals, presentations and RFP responses.
  • Exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, client visits and gross sales margin
  • Strong desire for sales and have a proven track record of previous related successes
  • Will report directly to the Managing Director of Sales

 

Job Requirements:

  • Sales experience within the Healthcare industry is Highly Preferred
  • Experience in Healthcare IT Staffing from a recruiting and/or sales background is highly preferred
  • Background and knowledge of healthcare advisory services and/or staffing regarding Meaningful Use, EMR, EHR, ERP, Business Intelligence and implementation is also highly preferred
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills & the ability to implement solutions.
  • The ability to learn new tasks quickly, excel at multi-tasking and have excellent communication and written skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Initiative, drive and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent organizational and follow-up skills, the ability to prioritize work assignments.
  • Knowledgeable in every step of the sales cycle: Prospect, Contact, Negotiation, Close and Follow-up
